Sado Island is a beautiful island located in the Sea of Japan off the coast of Niigata Prefecture, known for its scenic landscapes, deep history, and rich cultural heritage. While I haven’t ever visited the island, If you are a nature lover or have a particular interest in Japanese history and culture, Sado Island will be definitely a must-visit destination. Not to be missed is the “Sadoichi 210km Course,” a popular cycling route, driving through the island’s scenic roads by rental car, or diving in its beautiful seas.
